the lives of civilians around the world. The CMC and Action on Armed Violence will display this exhibition at the Bargehouse and host a
public drumming event outside the gallery on Sunday 1 August at 3pm.
Surviving the Peace, by MAG photographer Sean Sutton, is set in 14 countries and tells the story of the struggles and triumphs of survivors as they emerge from war and face new challenges in the aftermath of violence. A slideshow showing the devastation caused by cluster munitions and
MAG’s efforts to relieve the threat, as well as an exclusive preview of a film about MAG’s work in
Iraq, shot by Sean in May 2010, are also on display at the Bargehouse.
